Acer showcases at Dubai education event

Acer Computer, a leading PC manufacturer, will showcase its portfolio of top products at a major exhibition of educational supplies and solutions that opened in Dubai today (May 3).

Dubai airportGulf Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) 2011 will run up to May 5 at Dubai Airport Expo.

Acer is displaying its new tablet computer, the Icona Tab, interactive whiteboards, Aspire One education netbooks, monitors, and projectors.

“We have taken great care to come up with an exciting range of products that are designed to make learning exciting, and we are confident that the buzz generated by our products at GESS will be high,” said Naveen Sethi, educational sales manager ME, Acer Computer.

“Acer products will empower the region’s education industry and GESS gives us a chance to showcase global innovations for Middle East customers. We are always looking to develop and provide solutions that allow our customers to unlock the full potential of our products,” added Sethi.

GESS coupled with GEF (Global Education Forum) is the only exhibition and conference in the region focused on the entire spectrum of the education sector, a statement said.
