Arabian Reach announced that HE. Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of DWC-Dubai Aviation City Corporation and an iconic figure in aviation industry, will be the Keynote Speaker on December 11, 2011, opening the 1st Emerging Market Airport Suppliers Conference (EMASC 2011) in Dubai with what is anticipated as a very informative speech on development opportunities and challenges in UAE’s aviation sector, particularly centering on the great progress taking place on the DWC-Al Maktoum International Airport project – billed as the world’s largest when it becomes fully operational with expected passenger capacity of up to 160 million people a year.
The keynote address comes on the heels of a recent announcement by Dubai government to spend $7.8bn on new and upgraded terminals of its two airports – Dubai International and DWC Al Maktoum International.
The plan is to deliver aviation infrastructure which will support the continuation of the sector’s growth, facilitate Dubai’s economic expansion and generate 22% of total employment and 32% of the emirate’s GDP by 2020.
“Dubai’s aviation industry is quite impressive and continuously strives towards excellence in service, and this is something that we cannot achieve without the contribution of our suppliers. DWC-Aviation City Corporation sees this conference as an excellent sourcing ground and networking platform to expand its suppliers’ network and to share its project plans and requirements with those who are ready to go the extra mile in our quest for excellence,” said HE. Khalifa Al Zaffin.
“With his vast experience and industry expertise, HE. Khalifa Al Zaffin is the ideal personality to provide key note address at our EMASC 2011 conference,” said Raj Menon, General Manager of Arabian Reach, the organizer of the conference.
