Dubai: MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, & exhibitions) tourism is likely to migrate from its current home in the city centre to Dubai World Central, according to a development expert.

Jesdev Saggar, Managing Director, Infrastructure & Capital Projects Middle East & North Africa at Deloitte, said that along with MICE tourism office space in Dubai World Central was likely see a sharp development as “all the asset classes will try and go near” the airport.

F&E Aerospace have already seen the benefit having permanently relocated the Dubai Airshow to its purpose built venue in Dubai World Central.

“The move to the new venue coincides particularly well with the move to Dubai World Central as the exhibition space and footprint will now total 645,000 square metres, making it more than double the size of the old site,” F&E Aerospace Chief Executive Officer, Sharief Fahmy stated in an email.
