The service from Manchester Airport to Dubai that is run by Emirates is set to be boosted.

Emirates airwaysFrom May 1st the airline will operate a third service to the United Arab Emirates destination every day.

“With the launch of a third daily flight, we’ve got Manchester covered morning, noon and night, offering business and leisure travellers from the region an incredible choice of travel options,” Laurie Berryman, Emirates’ vice president UK and Ireland, said.

The new service will use a three-class configuration and an Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which will raise the company’s capacity from the north-west travel hub by 25 per cent.

Dave Laws, the north-east facility’s chief executive, said that the achievement was a good start to 2011.
